Meet the Speakers
Willie Roos
Willie has practiced as a property attorney for over 20 years. He has been involved in Sectional Title management for over 8 years He started Stratafin in 2014 with the goal of assisting Community Schemes with responsible solutions for funding without catching them in a debt trap. Willie has always believed in educating the Sectional Title industry and hosts monthly webinars and shares free resources to assist all those involved in the industry.
Zerlinda Van Der Merwe
Zerlinda is a specialist community schemes legal consultant, offering the services of legal advice in the form of consultations and legal opinions, meeting & CSOS attendances, governance documentation review & amendment, as well as being a professional trustee. Zerlinda’s background is that she is an owner & resident in an HOA & an investor owner in sectional title schemes, a previous managing agent & non-practising attorney. Zerlinda lives & breathes community scheme living & loves it!
Dr Carryn Durham
One of the most highly qualified Sectional Title Attorneys in the country, Carryn holds a BA (Law); LLB; LLM (Masters in Law) and has completed her LLD (Doctorate in Private Law) in the subject, all through the University of Stellenbosch. After five years of working for Sectional Title Specialist Academic Professor CG van der Merwe, she worked as a lead consultant at Paddocks with Graham Paddock and Zerlinda van der Merwe.
